CNC Fire Suppression System

A CNC fire suppression system is a specialised, fully automatic fire protection solution designed specifically for CNC machines. These systems address the heightened fire risks posed by high-speed components, prolonged runtimes and flammable lubricants common in manufacturing environments. By detecting and suppressing fires within seconds, this system minimises downtime and protects expensive equipment.

Fireward offers Reacton 1230™ and FM-200™ (HFC-227ea) as clean-agent options for CNC fire suppression. Reacton 1230™ is stored as a liquid and discharges as a non-conductive and residue-free gas. FM-200™ is a tested liquefiable clean agent, which is also non-conductive, colourless and odourless. Both are ideal for protecting sensitive electronics.

In addition to rapid automatic activation, Fireward systems include features such as manual actuation and end-of-line pressure gauges for system monitoring. They also come standard with 24/7 autonomous operation, battery isolation, machine shutdown and endure extreme conditions down to –20 °C.
