The system achieved a perfect score of 10/10 (A+ Rating), demonstrating exceptional effectiveness across rigorous fire and durability testing. The P-Mark SPCR 183 certification was first issued in January 2020 and renewed in January 2025 following RISE's ongoing surveillance and certification process.
The Reacton heavy vehicle fire suppression systems supplied and installed by Fireward in the UK are certified by RISE to SPCR 199, a demanding standard for fire suppression systems protecting the engine compartments of heavy vehicles and heavy equipment. The system achieved a score of 10/10 (A+ 1A Rating), successfully passing testing with an open test rig and meeting the Class A fire requirement. The SPCR 199 certification was first issued in January 2020 and has since been renewed until 2030.
The Reacton vehicle fire suppression systems supplied and installed by Fireward in the UK are certified to AS 5062:2016, the Australian standard for fire protection systems used on mobile plant and transportable equipment. The Dry Powder and fluorine-free foam (F3) suppression systems achieved CSIRO ActivFire certification in 2023, demonstrating compliance with the requirements of AS 5062:2016. ActivFire Certificates AFP-3772 and AFP-3727 cover 25-bar indirect fire suppression systems and are subject to annual renewal
Clean Agent & Industrial System Approvals
The Reacton Direct Low Pressure Reacton 1230 Clean Agent fire suppression systems supplied, installed and serviced by Fireward in the UK are UL Listed to UL 2166, achieving the world's first UL 2166 listing for direct, tube-activated clean agent technology. This Underwriters Laboratories certification verifies that the system meets rigorous safety and performance standards for halocarbon clean agent extinguishing systems, providing globally recognised protection for applications including electrical panels, electrical enclosures, machinery spaces and server cabinets.
The Reacton Clean Agent fire suppression systems supplied and fitted by Fireward are UL Listed to UL 2166 for Total Flooding applications. Using distribution pipework and nozzles, the fire suppression systems have been evaluated to the ANSI/CAN/UL/ULC 2166 Standard for Halocarbon Clean Agent Extinguishing System Units, demonstrating compliance with rigorous safety and performance requirements for clean agent fire suppression systems used to protect CNC machines, electrical enclosures and other enclosed applications.
The Reacton Direct Low Pressure Clean Agent fire suppression systems professionally fitted and maintained by Fireward are LPCB approved to LPS 1666 for the protection of electrical cabinets and small enclosures. LPS 1666 is a dedicated fire testing standard for these applications, assessing the effectiveness of fire suppression systems in protecting energised electrical panels, electrical cabinets and ventilated enclosures. LPCB certification provides internationally recognised independent verification of the system's fire protection performance.
The Clean Agents used within the Reacton fire suppression systems fitted by Fireward carry internationally recognised approvals and listings, including UL and ULC Listings, FM Approval and EPA SNAP listing as Halon alternatives. These approvals demonstrate that the agents meet recognised safety and environmental standards, including zero ozone depletion potential and low global warming potential (GWP).

The Reacton fire suppression systems specified and supplied by Fireward carry the CE mark, demonstrating conformity with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED). An EU Module D1 Quality Assurance certificate issued through BSI Netherlands, Notified Body 2797, covers the design and production of pressurised equipment, cylinders and components, providing independent assurance that applicable European safety and quality requirements are met.
The Reacton fire suppression systems supported and supplied by Fireward carry the UKCA mark, demonstrating conformity with the UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations for products placed on the market in Great Britain. Available in Direct Low Pressure (DLP) and Indirect Low Pressure (ILP) configurations, the fire suppression systems can use Clean Agent, Dry Chemical or fluorine-free Wet Chemical suppression agents activated by heat-sensitive Pneumatic Detection Tube. Available in a range of system sizes and manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality protocols, these systems operate without the need for an external power supply, providing robust fire protection for critical assets in enclosed and mobile applications.
